‘1916 The Musical’, an epic love story and the brainchild of Seán, was born 17 years ago, when he was walking through the streets of London. Of Irish descent, Seán is fiercely patriotic and proud of his heritage, describing Ireland as “where his heart is”. He feels compelled to tell this passionate love story and feels that the legacy of ‘1916’ will be the realisation that the masses play an important role in the direction of a nation, or indeed the world; the spirit of passion, loyalty, desire, hope, and indeed, love, are the fundamental human conditions, which ‘1916’ celebrates and Seán hopes to bring to a global audience. |
